The Clare Blase Spirit Award was created in honor and memory of Clare Blase for her enthusiasm, determination and inspirational leadership in
raising funds and awareness for Pedal the Cause
and cancer research. The award is given annually
to young riders and/or teams that embody the
spirit of Clare.
Volunteers are the backbone of Pedal the Cause.
In 2015, we had an army of 800+ dedicated volunteers that kept the course safe, worked in Ride Village, and cheered on our riders. Pedal
the Cause would not be possible without our
incredible volunteers.

In 2015, we had 240 participants who earned and incentive level and who raised an incredible $1,252,533. These participants are recognized for their fantastic efforts raising money for cancer research in St. Louis. They epitomize the mission of Pedal the Cause: to raise as much money as possible to find a cure for cancer.
